Once you have joined the Illinois Rx Buying Club, you have the option to receive your prescriptions via mail order.

You can save time and money by using mail order for long-term medications. Medications are usually delivered within 8 days after order is received. Be sure to have on hand at least a 14-day supply of any medication you’re currently taking. Otherwise, ask your doctor for a 14-day prescription to fill at a participating retail pharmacy.

To order by mail, ask your doctor to prescribe up to a 90-day supply, plus refills for up to 1 year (if appropriate). Complete the order form that accompanies your medication(s) and mail it with the refill slip(s) and your payment to: Medco Health Solutions, PO Box 30493, Tampa, FL 33630-3493. To order by fax, have your doctor call 1 888 327-9791 for faxing instructions. (Faxed prescriptions can only be accepted when they have been completed by and sent from a doctor’s office.)
